To charge rotate the windup arm either clockwise or anti-clockwise for 1 minute at 120 cycles per minute.  1 minute winding gives approximately 20 to 30 minutes of power.

To play the wind-up radio or use the torch you can either wind up the dynamo/charger - 1 minute for 30 mins of radio time -, or plug in to the mains using a mains DC adaptor (not supplied), or you can use batteries (2 x AA not supplied)
